Vote the Party, Not the Candidate

Political scientists have been saying for years that, contrary to American dogma, there's absolutely nothing wrong with voting for candidates based on the party label rather than a deep knowledge of their backgrounds, their personalities, their positions on every last issue or, as in this year's election, the parties they attend and the sex scenes they write in novels.
